Carved from the magical clay,
With skin that glittered like gold,
As tall as the cedars of Lebanon,
Having eyes that could win a glow contest against the stars,
And teeth that could light the bottomless pit,
Most magnificent was he.
Even more so than the palace of King Solomon.
Masterly moulded with glory bit by bit.
Soaked in royalty.
At the first sight of him,
The lion prostrated.
The white peacock collapsed in awe.
The eagle had to lay down its pride.
For a creature fairest of all creatures had been formed.
Yet he was only as useful as Michelangelo’s statue of David.
Good for a gallery.
For without the life of God, he was not Adam.
