Meet Amina Allison

Amina Allison is a law graduate working at the intersection of law, technology, and artificial intelligence, with a focus on AI governance, cybersecurity, data protection, intellectual property, and technology policy.

Her work involves legal analysis and policy-oriented engagement on how emerging technologies reshape legal systems, rights, accountability, and regulatory design. She contributes to and supports the development of laws, policies, and governance frameworks related to artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, data protection, and digital platforms within both African and global contexts.

She also contributes to global efforts against cybercrime by championing cybersecurity awareness, capacity building, youth empowerment, and digital inclusion initiatives worldwide. Here are some projects she has co-led and contributed to: Advocates4CyberYEmACBYRACDigital WomenSabiCyberAfrica CyberFest, and CTF4BF, among others. This work grounds her legal and policy analysis in real-world digital risk and institutional constraints.

She also writes on law, technology, and digital society, with published commentary examining AI-driven cybercrime, digital safety, data privacy, and accountability in the digital age.
